H.E.A.T. and DutchHunter DISCLAIMER
This
is Ted Cox's story, and no relation
to our experiences. His story, as
it unfolds in his personal notes
written by him nearly a half century
ago, is a direct link for us to
journey back to a time of high
adventure, treachery and extreme
danger. Back to a time when
Jacob Waltz and his "lost mine" were
recent history . . . and perhaps
maybe not so lost in the first
place.
We
hope that by posting his notes on
DutchHunter we will help show the
full picture of Ted's situation to
our viewers; why his partners
double-crossed him, why there may
still be bullion left. We also
want to share Ted's unique knowledge
of the often-times obscure history
of the Superstitions. And to
show you another side of the Lost
Dutchman Mine story never before
published . . . yet perhaps even
more plausible than the "popular"
versions.
In
his notes, Ted blames certain people
for wrong doings. That is not
necessarily our view. Much thought
and consideration has gone into our
decision to publicly release some of
these notes. And although we
have removed certain sensitive
material, we have not "sanitized"
his story (our world and media is
sanitized far too much as it is). For in doing so we
would be doing an injustice to
everyone involved. We simply
want to share Ted's experience, and
thus our experience following
his leads, with DutchHunter
viewers.
As
you read Ted's notes, you will also
see that he had strong opinions
about various government agencies.
This was his experience nearly fifty
years ago. This has not
necessarily been our experience.
We are presently working with the
graces of the U.S. Forest Service,
their archaeologists, and the
archaeology department at Arizona
State University. Together, as
a team, we hope to add a few new
pages to Arizona's history, and also
provide you, our viewers and
supporters, with a rare and fascinating glimpse into a
grand American adventure: The Search
for Lost Treasure!
The
H.E.A.T. team.
